“ This place is fantastic and you can tell there’s lots of thought and care put into this place. Warm, family-friendly atmosphere and a very clean, well-kept space. Feels like a safe space for anyone. Lots of great food and drink options, including alcohol. Staff super helpful and friendly and let you know when your time slot is about to expire and if you would like to extend it. They can give you suggestions for games based on players, too. The games library here is so extensive and everything seems to be in great condition. Lots of games available to buy, too. There’s even a little shelf under the table to put your board game bits! Honestly one of my favourite spots I’ve ever visited, so relaxing, fun and cheaper than I imagined. Can’t wait to return to try more games and food. ”
“ Great lunch spot with delicious food on the menu- I had the halloumi wrap! It was freshly made and packed with flavour ! Many fun board games to choose from! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I advise to book in advance. ”
“ I've visited quite a few times with friends and family, and we always enjoy the visit! There are so many games to choose from, the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable (which I always find impressive!) in case you are unsure how to play or need recommendations, and the food is always really tasty! I had the mezze plate the last two times I've visited. Highly recommend! ”
“ Really great venue. The games are well looked after. There's a great choice on the menu, same in the cake display with good flagging of dietary requirements. Loved the taster menus of games to help decide if you're a bit overwhelmed with choice. If you don't know what to play check them out on the website. I liked the, if you liked this then you might also like detail too. ”
“ Joined the LGBT gamers night for the first time on Sunday and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Played board games with strangers who were all very welcoming and nice. Some returning folk and some, Like myself, were new. I will be booking a ticket to come again next month if I can. The drinks I had were nice, especially the vanilla milkshake but the nachos were too salty. ”
“ It was our first time here and the cafe was lovely and so are all the staff! There’s plenty of games to choose from and time flies by! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! ”
“ An amazing board game cafe with lovely, informative staff and a great menu - possibly the best milkshake I've ever had! Reasonably priced, super clean and well-organised. A joy to visit time and time again. ”
“ What an awesome place. Such a wide selection of games, really good atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Really well priced. Plenty of games to buy too. 100% would recommend, even of you are not a big fan of the games you can still have so much with friends and its a really chilled out place. ”
